Join us to a Tour to Malta – Honeywell Travel will show you around the hidden germs of the island , and Ms Catherine Galea,  our Maltese  mindfulness teacher will introduce you to the idea of mindfulness as a way of living to release stress and feel more relaxed and be more present. At the end, each one of you will set their own intention/s for the duration of this holiday so you can make the best of this precious time.

About Catherine Galea:

Catherine is an Award Winning Coach, Accredited Mindfulness Teacher (Adults and Children), and Chakradance Facilitator . She is also a mum of an 8 year old girl. 

She is also a Master NLP Practitioner, Advanced EFT Practitioner, Reiki Healer, and Womb Healer.

Catherine is dedicated to helping modern busy people who are stressed out, overwhelmed and confused with life, full of self doubt and lack self confidence. She is dedicated to empowering her clients with tools and resources that support them in restoring balance, live a happier and meaningful life.  Catherine believes that self awareness and self love are essential to living a life of happiness, balance and purpose. Program

Malta might be one of the smallest nations in Europe, but its strategic position at the crossroads of the Mediterranean has allowed it to cultivate a rich culture over thousands of years.
This centre-based tour goes beyond the seaside resorts for which the island is most famous, exploring instead the exciting history of the capital, Valletta; the three cities of Birgu, Senglea and Bormla; as well as the historic sites of the Hagar Qim temples and the historic walled city of Mdina Moreover, we add a special touch with wellbeing and self-care. So this is an opportunity to explore, unwind and recharge with a local who is also a wellbeing specialist.

Day 1: Friday 22 March 24Larnaca - Malta

9:30am Meet at Larnaca airport and check in to Emirates for the flight to Malta.
1:15pm Arrival in Malta, meet with our English-speaking guide, who on the way to the hotel, will introduce us to the world of this small island.
Check in the rooms, time for relax or for a snack.

5-6pm – Welcome Circle and Introduction to Mindfulness for Relaxation

We will gather to get to know each other a bit more as we are spending a few days together. The intention is to get to know each other with an attitude of curiosity and without judgement. Adopting kindness to self and others we relate to.
As mentioned above, Catherine will introduce you to the idea of being more present, to help you release stress and will guide you with some simple exercises you can take with you.

8pm In the evening, if you so wish, we can share some taxi and go to Millieha centre for a dinner. There are some excellent restaurants there to taste local Maltese cuisine.

Day 2: Saturday 23 March 24Valetta Tour

9 – 9.30am: Introduction to Mindful Eating

What does it mean to eat mindfully? And how do we do this?
Catherine will guide you to the benefits and the practice of eating with more awareness so you can move on for breakfast and enjoy it as you never did before. 😊

9.30-10.30am: Breakfast time

10:45am: We meet our guide at the hotel, and embark on a tour of Malta’s compact capital, Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site brimming with baroque marvels, twisting streets and charming cafes.
We start our walking tour of Valletta at the Upper Barraka Gardens which offer stunning views of the Grand Harbour and magnificent fortifications, a walk down the main streets where you can admire numerous historical buildings built by the Knights of St. John including the Auberges, Palazzos, the Grand Master’s Palace and the St. John’s Co. Cathedral. We include an internal tour of the cathedra as the interior is magnificent. You will be impressed by its baroque decoration and the paintings of Caravaggio that it houses.
Free time for lunch, for strolling around in the city’s medieval narrow streets or for some shopping or Instagram photos! Valetta is breathtaking and it is a city to be seen and seen again.
5pm: Return back to the hotel for relax & spa
8pm: Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Sunday 24 March 24Discovery of the 3 cities

7.00-9.30am: Breakfast time.
09.30 – 10.30am (after breakfast) – Stress management and Anxiety Relief techniques
What causes you stress? Understanding what stress is, is part of becoming more self-aware. We will practice self-awareness exercises. Then move on to techniques to help us release stress and anxiety. These are simple exercises that you can use any time wherever you are.
10.30am: We will explore Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua – together known as The Three Cities of Malta and then we will end up our trip with a half-hour private harbour cruise aboard a traditional ,colorful Maltese boat.
5.00pm: Back to the hotel and relax.

5.30pm: Explore the senses with a Mindful Walk
Mindful walking is a great exercise to become more aware of yourself and your surroundings. You will explore how this practice can help you release stress, recenter yourself and feel more relaxed.

8.00pm: Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Monday 25 March 24Mdina, Rabat and Hagar Qim temples

9.00am: Embark on a full-day tour to the historic walled city of Mdina, walk to Rabat and then head to the 5,000-year-old temple complex of Hagar Qim
Mdina,or the Silent City The only way to really experience and enjoy this city is on foot, explore the quaint alleys, narrow streets, ancient buildings and magnificent far-reaching views from the high bastion walls. Walk to Rabat and enjoy more.
We will then continue our tour to visit Hagar Qim Temple , the most famous of the the 7 megalithic temples of Malta. All have been declared UNESCO world Heritage sites These megalithic temples date back to 5,500 years and are the oldest free standing stone buildings in the world, even older than Stonehenge and the pyramids. Later afternoon return to the hotel.

5.00pm: – Chakradance

Time to explore how music, movement, and creativity can help you let go and release stress, drop down from your mind to your body to be more in the present moment. By dancing each part of ourselves, we release tension from our mind and body but also can become clearer of our needs, desires.

8.00pm: If you so wish, we share taxis and we go for a farewell dinner .

Day 5: Tuesday 26 March 24Return flight to Cyprus.

7.00-10.00am: Breakfast and check out.

10.00 -11.15am: Closing Circle focusing on Compassion
Time to reflect as we end this time together and hopefully you have renewed and recharged yourself. Time to reflect how you will use the practices learned back at home on a daily basis. How will you make time for self-care to lead a more balanced and happier life?
We will end with a practice to leave us feeling more compassionate for ourselves and our needs.
Hopefully we have all made a new circle of friends that can support each other with compassion and care.

11.30am: Departure for the airport and our flight back to Cyprus.

In case of cancellation up to 45 days, before the date of arrival, 100 EUR per person will be charged.
